Most golf tournaments belong to one tour. The TaylorMade Pebble Beach Invitational is different: founded in 1972, it is the only event that puts players from the PGA, LPGA, Champions, and Korn Ferry tours on the same leaderboard. The 2026 edition runs Tuesday, November 17 to Sunday, November 22, 2026, according to Pebble Beach Resorts.

How the week works

  • Three courses: play rotates across Pebble Beach Golf Links, Spyglass Hill Golf Course, and The Links at Spanish Bay.
  • One leaderboard, different tees: the tournament sets tee positions so players from each tour are hitting similar clubs into every green, then lets them compete for the same purse.
  • Pros and amateurs together: each pro plays with a team of four amateurs, and the partners rotate every day.
  • The cut: after three rounds, the field is cut to the top 40 pros and ties and the top 10 amateur teams and ties, who play on Sunday.

Monterey’s own Mina Harigae won the 2025 edition, the first woman to win the event since Juli Inkster in 1990. The tournament benefits the Kiwanis Club of Monterey and the AT&T Pebble Beach Junior Golf Association.

Tips for visiting

  • Check the details first. For spectator access, parking, and the daily schedule, use the official tournament page or call Pebble Beach at (831) 625-8575.
  • Dress for November on the coast. Mornings are often cool and foggy, and the wind picks up along Carmel Bay. Bring layers and shoes that can handle damp grass.
  • Get close to the action. Pebble Beach promises wide-open views of the fairways and close-ups of the players, a different feel from the February AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
  • Make a weekend of it. Drive the rest of 17-Mile Drive, browse Carmel-by-the-Sea, or walk the trails at Point Lobos on a day off the course.

Where to stay

The week before Thanksgiving is a good time to visit the Peninsula. Book directly with the hotel for the best options.

  • Stargazer Hotel on Munras Avenue sits close to Highway 1, an easy drive to the Pebble Beach gates and Carmel, with an indoor heated pool for the evening.
  • Cannery Row Inn is steps from Cannery Row and close to Pacific Grove, with select rooms offering fireplaces and bay-view balconies.
  • Scottish Fairway Inn on North Fremont Street has easy Highway 1 access and free parking, a fitting base for a golf trip.
