A game or concert at Levi's Stadium is a lot more fun when the logistics are easy. Here is how to plan a smooth trip to Santa Clara.

Book your room early

Hotels near the stadium fill quickly on game and concert weekends, so book as soon as you have tickets. Staying close by keeps the drive short and makes it easy to rest before the event.

Plan how you will get there

Traffic around the stadium is heavy before and after big events. VTA light rail and regional trains stop at stations near the stadium, and rideshare has designated zones. If you drive, buy parking in advance where possible and check the stadium's official site for current details.

Know the rules before you go

Like most NFL venues, Levi's Stadium has a clear bag policy and other entry rules. Check the official site the day before so there are no surprises at the gate.

Make a weekend of it

Santa Clara and the surrounding South Bay have plenty to fill a weekend: dinner at Santana Row, a tour of the Winchester Mystery House, the gardens at Mission Santa Clara, and the Computer History Museum in Mountain View.

Where to stay

The Granada Hotel is on El Camino Real in Santa Clara, minutes from Levi's Stadium, with free Wi-Fi and parking. For a quieter boutique stay, the Carlyle Hotel in Campbell is an intimate 38-room hotel close to Santana Row and downtown Campbell.
