WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca sits in the hills off Highway 68 between Monterey and Salinas. The circuit is famous for the Corkscrew, a steep, blind left-right drop that is one of the best-known corners in motorsport.
The track hosts professional racing, motorcycle events, and vintage racing during Monterey Car Week in August, along with track days and other events through the year. Big race weekends draw large crowds, so rooms on the Peninsula book early.
